Laurie Thorp graduated from the Barbara Brennan School of Healing
(BBSH) in 1996. She completed the Teacher Training Program at BBSH
and has been on the BBSH Faculty since 1998. Laurie was Director of
Student Affairs at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing from 2002-
2004. She teaches Energy Healing workshops throughout the world. Laurie
is also a 1991 graduate of the Carolina School of Massage Therapy in
Carrboro, NC.
Laurie is a skilled and sensitive energy healer and massage therapist who
brings compassion, safety and a high level of integrity to her work. Her

What is Brennan Healing Science?
Brennan Healing Science is a complementary and holistic modality of
subtle energy work developed by Dr. Barbara Brennan. This is a unique
process that uses non-invasive touch and the regulation of specific energy
frequencies to promote healing on all levels of one's being - physical,
emotional, mental and spiritual. The intention is to empower each client to
move toward self-understanding and the recognition of their own innate
ability to heal. This work is profoundly transforming.
How does Brennan Healing Science work?
As quantum physics tells us, everything in the universe is energy; even
that which we call "solid matter" is simply very dense energy. The Human
Energy Field, or aura, is the visible manifestation of universal energy that
is specifically involved with human life. It can be described as a luminous
body that surrounds and inter penetrates the physical body.
One's physical history, emotional history, belief systems, ancestral
heritage and all levels of disease - be it physical, mental, emotional or
spiritual - are held in the Human Energy Field. It is this energy that
determines both the physical and emotional well-being, like "an underlying
blueprint."
Healing is a holistic process that focuses on each person as a dynamic,
unique being, composed of body, mind and spirit. Laurie works with you to
explore your energy field and its relationship to health and disease.

• Prevent or decrease swelling and bruising of contusion wounds
